Terms and Conditions
General provisions
These General Terms & Conditions (GTC) govern the sales of Products or Services through this website. They are fully enforceable against the purchaser who accepted them before placing an order. I (Inés Galletly) reserve the right to modify these terms at any time by publishing a new version of them on my website. The applicable GTC are those in effect on the day the payment for the order occurred (or on the day of the first payment in case of multiple payments). The customer declares that they have read all of these GTC, and that they accept them without restriction or reservation.
Prices and Shipping
The prices of the products sold through this website are indicated in Euros after taxes and are precisely determined on the products and description pages, excluding specific shipping costs for products. The shipping costs for all Spanish and international destinations are based on the total weight of the order, which includes the ordered ceramic items as well as the whole packaging. For all products shipped outside of the European Union and/or overseas Spain, customs duties or other local taxes, or import duties, or state taxes are liable to be due for payment in certain cases. Please note these rights and sums are not my responsibility. They will be entirely at the expense of the purchaser and are their responsibility (declarations, payment to the competent authorities, etc.). Therefore I invite the purchaser to contact the local authorities for further information.
Domestic orders are usually delivered within 5 business days. International orders can take up to 15 business days. For the customer to follow the progress of their delivery on a daily basis, a delivery tracking number will also be given in the email sent out as a notification that the parcel has been transferred to the postal service. It is the customer’s responsibility to give the correct delivery address when entering the contract. If the customer provides an incorrect address resulting in the parcel not reaching them, the order will not be replaced, nor refunded.
If the customer's order is lost or damaged during its shipment please be in touch with me and I will help in any way I can.
Returns and Refunds
Returns are only accepted if the customer recieves the incorrect product or a broken product. In case this happens I will do my best to to ensure the replacement or refund of the order.
Care
All my work is handmade and is meant to be used on a daily basis, but it is more fragile than industrial ceramics. Even though some pieces are food, dishwasher and microwave safe, you should take special care of them if you want to keep them for a longer time. Wash by hand all pieces if possible and avoid leaving liquid in them for a long period of time. Crackle glazed pieces will stain over time due to the use of high coloured liquids, so please avoid using strongly staining foods/liquids. Also, it is preferable to avoid sudden changes in temperature, so it is better to let the boiling water settle before pouring it into the cup.
Some pieces may appear differently from that pictured if there’s a quantity option available on that specific item. All of my pots are handmade and therefore subtle differences are expected from item to item. While I try to make sure that the colours of my products are displayed accurately on the site, the actual colours that you see on your computer may vary depending on the monitor that you use.
Since most of the pieces are fired at high temperature (if not, it is specified on the description), all of them are vitrified properly so there is nothing toxic or dangerous that can leach out from the glazes.
Privacy policy
I value your privacy as much as I value my own, any personal information that I receive is wholly confidential and will not be shared with any other parties.
Any personal information provided when placing an order will only be used to complete the costumer's order. I will not use any personal information for commercial or promotional communications. I also inform you of the possibility of exercising your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition of your personal data by contacting me by email at inesgalletly.art@gmail.com.
In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) I inform my customers that the personal data requested in the purchase process through inesgalletly.com are necessary for the fulfilment of our contractual obligations and to provide the correct service (sale, shipping, delivery of goods, customs documentation and invoicing).
I will not be able to fulfil our contractual obligations and provide the service if the personal data provided by the customer is false, inaccurate or incomplete. Therefore, the personal data must be indicated accurately when filling in the form in order to avoid incidents in the provision of the service and the delivery of the purchased products. The verification of such data shall be the sole and exclusive responsibility of the customer. I shall not be liable for any errors or inaccuracies in the order in the event that the customer provides false, inaccurate or incorrect data.
