Fireclay box glazed with lutite rock from the Puiggraciós mountain, el Figaró (Barcelona) and oak wood ash.  The lid's knob is a quartz stone collected from the same mountain. Fired in a reducing atmosphere to 1300ºC for 11 hours in a manual gas kiln. Handbuilt with the kurinuki technique.

Even though the pieces are food, dishwasher and microwave safe, you should take special care of them if you want to keep them for a longer time. Wash by hand all pieces if possible and avoid leaving liquid in them for a long period of time. Crackle glazed pieces will stain over time due to the use of high coloured liquids, so please avoid using strongly staining foods/liquids. Also, it is preferable to avoid sudden changes in temperature, so it is better to let the boiling water settle before pouring it into the cup.
