Self-taught ceramic artist based in Barcelona, where I create functional and decorative ceramic objects with local resources which I  collect. In particular, I study the use of wild clays, wood ashes and various rocks. My work is based on sculptural, handbuilt and wheelthrown techniques. The creative process ends with the firing of the pieces with a manual gas kiln.

 

Each piece represents the place where it comes from, as the classical elements (earth, water, air and fire) uniquely combine matter. From plant to crystal, from clay to ceramic. Art, science and nature amalgamated.
